The trio successfully completes the heist, but tensions culminate in a confrontation where Carole orchestrates The Godmother\'s assassination. Facing imminent capture, Carole sacrifices herself to ensure Alex\'s escape. Years later, Alex, having abandoned her criminal past, reunites with Sam and discovers that Carole is alive, living in hiding with her daughter, Raoule — the name Alex had suggested.
